Top 10 Best-Selling Trucks In Canada - 2011 Year End

2012 Ford F-150
Between the two of them, Canadian sales of Chevrolet's Silverado and GMC's Sierra reached 87,203 in 2011. Add in the similarly full-size Chevrolet Avalanche and Cadillac Escalade EXT and General Motors is still stuck at 91,087, 5238 sales behind Ford's best-selling F-Series. In this instance, GM is not the winner.

That said, Ford F-Series sales were down in 2011. GMC Sierra sales were not. As far as percentage year-over-year gains go, however, the Dodge Ram and Nissan Titan have all the other "best sellers" soundly conquered. Titan sales jumped 63% in 2011, from nothing to next-to-nothing.

2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Express Red
Let's imagine for a second that Dodge Ram sales increase 18.5% in 2012. At 76,192, Ram sales would be absurdly healthy, more than double 2004's total. Yet, with another 1.6% drop in F-Series sales, the Ram would still be 18,592 sales behind the ostensibly invincible Ford. Tasty as the Ram is, solid as the Tundra and Silverado and Sierra are, Canada clearly just agrees with GoodCarBadCar: the F-150 EcoBoost 4x4 is a member of The Good 12. These other trucks are not.
