GM Canada sold 111 Cadillac Escalades and 38 long-wheelbase Escalade ESVs in August 2015, respective year-over-year gains of 50% and 65%.
Combined, the duo outsold the class-leading Mercedes-Benz GL-Class by 30 units last month as GL volume slid 31% and total Escalade sales jumped 54%.

Aside from the GL, gains were produced across the lineup of flagship luxury SUVs in Canada last month.
Infiniti added 33 QX80 sales. Land Rover Range Rover sales improved by 40 units. Lincoln added ten Navigator sales.
Compared with volume luxury SUVs, these are, quite obviously, low-volume products. Combined, their 492 August sales trailed the totals of individual premium utility vehicles such as the Audi Q5, Mercedes-Benz M-Class, Acura RDX, Lexus RX, Lexus NX, and Cadillac SRX.
