With the Windsor-built FCA twins recovering from their plant shutdown, "full-size" minivan sales jumped 17% in Canada in June 2015, buoyed also by the Kia Sedona's meaningful growth and a 34% Toyota Sienna jump.
Canada Vehicle Sales Rankings By Model - June 2015 YTD
Chrysler and Dodge, the latter of which builds the best-selling Grand Caravan, owned 62% of the overall minivan market in June 2015. Their total volume was up 14% to 6186 units last month and they ranked first and second in the category.
Honda Odyssey volume dropped by a modest 4% in June, the seventh decrease in the last eight months. But one of the 1311 Odysseys sold by Honda Canada in June was paid for with our own money, right here at GCBC.
