Large SUV Sales In Canada - 2008 Year End

2004 Nissan Armada
Yet again, Canadian sales of full-size sport-utility vehicles plunged in Canada in 2008, having fallen 10% in 2007, 1% in 2006, and 23% in 2005.

GM Canada's market share in the category (excluding luxury nameplates like the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator) slid to 49.5% as Toyota's all-new second-generation Sequoia fought back with a Yukon XL-tying performance.

Nissan sold fewer than ten Armadas per month, and though the Armada is the same vehicle now it was then, renewed effort from Nissan Canada means they sell more than 40 per month now.
