WATCH TATA NANO PRODUCTION DEBUT


Ratan Tata has again revealed his company's 1 lakh car, the Tata Nano, in a massive display to the media. After delays which struck the company as a result of farmers and the original manufacturing site, the Nano is only going "on sale" at the beginning of April but won't be delivered until early summer. That's about six months behind schedule. Nevertheless, thousands of Indians will almost certainly be pleased with the likelihood that, in a couple months, their family can move off the scooter and into a car for just $2,500.
