At 26 years old, Henrik Fisker found himself working in one of the world's most prestigious - and straight-laced - automotive studios. At that time, BMW wasn't known for Bangling or flame-surfacing. No, BMWs looked good and, more importantly, they looked like BMWs.
That doesn't seem like such a problem in light of recent BMWs that looked like garbage but went like stink. To a designer, residing in a box isn't fun. At Aston Martin, which was under Ford in 2001, Fisker had more latitude. The DB9 and V8 Vantage were and are wild successes.Â
Now in his own coachbuilding exercise, Hank Fisker does as he pleases. The new Karma is a dramatic plug-in hybrid that Henry will describe in the clip below.
