The Chevrolet Silverado took a hard hit, falling from 4035 to 2197, a 21% drop. The GMC Sierra also struggled, down 13% in May. Sales of other General Motors pickups, from the Cadillac Escalade EXT to the Chevrolet Avalanche and GM's Colorado/Canyon twins, fell hard and fast. GM, as a whole, was down 11.5% in May. Finally, sales of the Toyota Tundra dropped 5%, a figure that's not at all bad when compared with its smaller sibling's results. In May 2010, Toyota sold 761 Tacomas. Last month, Toyota sold just 473. Toyota breaks down their truck sales quite nicely: only 5% of Tundra buyers didn't opt for a 4x4. 10.1% of Tacoma buyers went with rear-wheel drive.Canada's best-selling pickup trucks are in the Graph below.Related From GoodCarBadCar.netTop 5 Best-Selling Trucks In Canada - May 2012Top 10 Best-Selling Trucks In Canada - June 2011Top 5 Best-Selling Trucks In Canada - April 2011Top 5 Best-Selling Trucks In Canada - May 2010New Vehicle Market Share By Brand In Canada - May 2011Top 20 Best-Selling Cars In Canada - May 2011Top 10 Best-Selling SUVs In Canada - May 2011Complete Truck Sales Chart For Canada - May 2011
