FCA Canada, the parent company of the Dodge brand, also suffered a sharp 79% decline in Fiat 500L sales last month. The Jeep Compass, with its 66% year-over-year drop, lost 271 sales compared with July 2014. Compact cars and slowly expiring crossovers aren't the only products on the list of Canada's 20 worst-selling vehicles in July 2015, of course. The Nissan Altima, America's second-best-selling car, tumbled 63% to only 504 Canadian sales in July 2015, making it the 12th-worst-selling vehicle by year-over-year decline. Year-to-date, Altima volume is down 21%.
The Cadillac ELR, extraordinarily rare one year ago, was even rarer in July 2015. The Hyundai Equus, a stretch for virtually every luxury car buyer, likewise tumbled 60% in July 2015. Established nameplates like the Chevrolet Impala, Mercedes-Benz SL, and GMC Yukon all lost more than half their July sales last month. You can always select a make and model at GCBC's Sales Stats page to find historical monthly and yearly sales figures from both Canada and the United States.
