Top 10 Worst-Selling Vehicles In Canada - July 2013
As is so often the case, the July 2013 edition of Canada's 10 worst-selling automobiles is an eclectic group. When measuring worst sellers by year-over-year decline, only one brand, BMW, landed more than one automobile in the top ten. X1 sales slid 88% from last July's total of 619 sales; 1-Series sales slid 71% from 97 to 29.
Volvo's S80 continues to sell basically never, only it sold much less often this July than it did a year ago. The Audi A3 hatchback won't be replaced by the A3 sedan for some time. Honda Canada hardly tries to sell Insights and CR-Zs. One wouldn't have anticipated such a drastic and consistent decline in Chevrolet Orlando volume so soon after it arrived on the market. Chrysler 300 sales always fluctuate. The Acura TSX has been all but forgotten since the Acura ILX arrived. Buick can't sell Regals when the Verano is nearly as much car for significantly less money.GoodCarBadCar ranks worst sellers three different ways below. It starts by measuring vehicles by their own respective year-over-year declines. Then cars with base prices under $50,000 are ranked by volume, then all nameplates are tossed into one pot.All Vehicles Ranked By July 2013/YTD Canadian Sales

Source: Manufacturers & ANDC Vehicle must have been on sale in July 2013, must not have been officially cancelled by its manufacturer, and must have been showcased on manufacturer's website in June. The rule that disallows discontinued or cancelled vehicles can lead to confusion, as manufacturers often announce the discontinuation of a model but continue to market the car indefinitely. Brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, Maserati etc. do not issue model-specific monthly sales reports.RECOMMENDED READINGTop 20 Worst-Selling Vehicles In Canada - July 2014Top 10 Worst-Selling Vehicles In Canada - August 2013Top 10 Worst-Selling Vehicles In Canada - June 2013Top 10 Worst-Selling Cars In Canada - July 2012Canada Auto Sales Brand Rankings - July 2013 YTDTop 30 Best-Selling Vehicles In Canada - July 2013
