Top 10 Best-Selling Cars In Canada - November 2010
For the sake of continuity, The Good Car Guy has been posting sales of the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze alongside sales of the 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt. The Cruze can now be considered a success, at least in the short term, as 1308 sales would nearly place it among the Top 10 Best-Selling Cars In Canada. With help from its direct predecessor's 1860 November sales, the Cruze leaps up to #2, just behind the indomitable Honda Civic.Care to include the Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country in this Best Sellers list? They'd be number one - Grand Caravan sales alone were 4413 in November. Chrysler's minivan added 243. But at GoodCarBadCar.net, minivans are kept with minivans. This isn't the first time the prestigious BMW 3-Series has appeared on such a prestigious list. The 3-Series is routinely one of the UK's best-selling cars. However, at the opposite end of the scale, the Honda Fit is an irregular fit, indeed. Sales are up 249% from November 2009. That's something. But speak ye of obvious deal-making by Honda: Fit sales jumped 393% from just one month ago. Of course, red font means decling sales, something that's starting to seem downright normal in Toyota's passenger car family. The Mazda 3, with sales down 26.6%, trails the Honda Civic by 7926 units year-to-date, an insurmountable lead with just one month of reporting remaining. Together, as they are in the States, the Toyota Corolla and Toyota Matrix would be Canada's best-selling car with 54,529 sales despite their joint decline of 21.4%. Enough rambling, these were Canada's ten best-selling cars in November 2010.
