Following last week’s leak when a scanned picture of the 2009 Subaru Exiga brochure found its way into the net, the Japanese carmaker came out today with an official press release along with two teaser shots of its forthcoming 7-seater crossover. Based on the homonymous concept car at last year’s Tokio Motor Show, the production Exiga will be fully revealed in a couple of weeks, on June 17, 2008.

Following last week’s leak when a scanned picture of the 2009 Subaru Exiga brochure found its way into the net, the Japanese carmaker came out today with an official press release along with two teaser shots of its forthcoming 7-seater crossover. Based on the homonymous concept car at last year’s Tokio Motor Show, the production Exiga will be fully revealed in a couple of weeks, on June 17, 2008. Subaru’s teaser press release isn’t much of a help, but it seems that the Exiga is some sort of seven-seater crossover/MPV that fits between the Forester and Legacy/Outback models.
