Philadelphia Officials Slow Down Drivers with Fake 3D Speed Bumps
The City of Philadelphia has rolled out a new program dubbed “Drive CarePhilly†aimed at getting drivers to follow speed limits. One part of the program involves the deployment of high-tech 3D decals that create the illusion of speed bumps at about 100 intersections in the city.
The goal of course is to make drivers think that there's a bump in the intersection so they can slow down. We’ll have to wait and see the results in order to make any conclusions, but if anything else, at least the fake speed bumps won't cause any damage or wear on our cars.Via: KYW
