Nissan Posts a 5.4 Percent Increase in 2012 European Sales through October
While most mainstream carmakers are seeing their sale numbers in Europe either remain stagnant or decrease, Nissan seems to be faring the economic crisis fairly well. The Japanese automaker said on Tuesday that its year-to-date sales in Europe and Russia from January through October, 2012, recorded an increase of 5.4 per cent compared to the same period last year.
At the same time, Nissan's year-to-date market share was up by 7.5 per cent in Russia, 4.5 per cent in the UK and 15.1 per cent in France versus this time last year. The company did not give out any country-specific numbers.
