Nissan Confirms Production of Next Murano at its Mississippi Plant
There was a rumor going around last year that Nissan may shift production of the Murano crossover from Japan to its Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant in Missisipi to better compete in the North American market due to the rising cost of the yen, which eats into its profits. On Thursday, Nissan made it official announcing that the next-generation Murano crossover will be built in the States at the Canton facility.
