New VW Golf SportWagen GTE Plug-in Hybrid Spotted in San Francisco
Fact 1: VW presented a sporty-flavored, plug-in hybrid version of the new Golf Mk7 hatchback dubbed the GTE at the Geneva Auto Show in March. Fact 2: The Jetta SportWagen's successor, the new Golf SportWagen will go on sale in the US in the first quarter of 2015 with an initial choice of two engines, a 150hp 2.0-liter diesel, and a 170hp 1.8-liter turbo'd gasoline unit.
