Midsize SUV Sales In America - July 2015 YTD
In July 2015, Buick Enclave sales rose beyond 6000 units for just the third time in the last 31 months. Chevrolet sold more than 12,000 Traverses for the first time since July 2011. GMC Acadia sales climbed above 11,000 units for just the second time in 28 months.

In other words, it was a great month for GM's Lambda platform crossovers.
But it was also a big month for the Ford Explorer, revamped for the 2016 model year. Explorer sales in July 2015 were 35% higher than Explorer sales were in July 2010 and July 2011 combined. |

Year-over-year increases of more than 20% were also registered by the Hyundai Santa Fe and Toyota 4Runner. The Toyota Highlander was up 12%, Nissan Murano volume increased 18%, the Kia Sorento posted an 11% increase. Ford Edge volume jumped 17%.
