Daimler's Mercedes GP Petronas Formula One team announced today that it has renewed its contract with current pilot Nico Rosberg. The two parties have agreed to a multi-year contract which according to the German company, “includes the 2013 F1 season and beyond†– whatever that means.
Although in his two years with Mercedes, Rosberg has scored three podium finishes, he has yet to win a race. “To win in a Silver Arrow will be one of the highlights of my life so far, and I greatly enjoy helping to lead out team in our quest to become the best in Formula 1â€, said Rosberg after signing his new contract.
