Large SUV Sales In America - October 2014 YTD
Full-size, volume brand SUV sales declined in the United States in October 2014 as three of GM's four big brutes recorded lower volume than they did a year ago. In addition, sales of the segment's basement dwellers - Sequoia and Armada - declined, as well.

Ford Expedition sales shot up 18%, a 569-unit improvement. The top-selling Chevrolet Tahoe added 454 sales, a 6% boost, as GM's market share in the category fell to 76.1% from 78.1% in October 2013.
Sales of the quartet declined 10%. Together with the Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV (up 30% to 1390 and 24% to 753, respectively), GM's truck-based SUVs accounted for 8.7% of the company's U.S. volume in October.
