In a month that also saw huge gains produced by the Infiniti QX80, Land Rover Range Rover, Lincoln Navigator, and Mercedes-Benz's G and GL-Class SUVs, it's easy to conclude Americans were buying a large number of high-end luxury SUVs in early 2015.
But we're not back to crazy levels yet, not for body-on-frame luxury utilities like the Escalade and Navigator. Take the regular-wheelbase 'Slade as an example: Cadillac sold an average of 3250 per month in 2006, in addition to 1350 Escalade ESV sales. The Navigator lineup attracted 3230 new owners per month in 2003. You can click any model name in the tables below to find historical monthly and yearly U.S. auto sales data. You can also select a make and model at GCBC's Sales Stats page. This table is now sortable, so you can rank large luxury SUVs any which way you like.
