Year-to-date volume in the segment is down 9% after first quarter sales slid 13%.
The Chevrolet Impala outsold the Chrysler/Dodge twins - 300 and Charger - by more than 1000 units. 27.6% of the sales displayed in this post were generated by the Impala, up from 23.1% at this time last year.

They sold more than 300,000 in 2007, but GM isn't aiming for that kind of volume with the less fleet-friendly new Impala, a car GCBC reviewed last month. You can click any model name in the tables below to find historical monthly and yearly U.S. auto sales data. You can also select a make and model at GCBC's Sales Stats page. These tables are now sortable, so you can rank large cars any which way you like.
