Lamborghini's Sales Surge 23 Percent to 1,602 Units in 2011
Famed Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has announced strong sales numbers for the year that ended on December 31, 2011. The company recorded double-digit increase in deliveries and turnover selling 300 more cars compared to the previous year for a total of 1,602 units (+23 percent), while its revenues grew 19 percent, from €271 million (US$364 million) in 2010 to €332 million ($US445 million in 2011.
The United States and China remained Lamborghini's largest single markets, followed by the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and the Middle East.
