Just Wow: Volvo Dealer Kept this 1973 1800ES Virtually Brand New with Only 88 Miles!



You may remember the story of Irv Gordon who first made automotive headlines back in 2007 when his 1966 Volvo P1800 Coupe's odometer crossed the 2.6 million mile (4.18 million km) mark, and again just last summer, when he reported approaching 3 million miles (4.8 million km).

Well, this find represents the exact opposite, as the pictured 1973 Volvo 1800 ES, which is the rarer shooting-brake sibling of the P1800 Coupe, has traveled a meager 88 miles (a hair less than 142 km) since it rolled off the production line in Gothenburg more than four decades ago!
