Honda Releases New Life Minicar in Japan
Much to the rejoice of lackluster-styling car fans, Honda has introduced a new-generation of its dwarf-sized Life minicar. The new model will go on sale in Japan on 7 November, 2008 priced from 945,000 Yen or with the current exchange rates, $9,650 U.S. Honda plans on selling around 13,000 units of the Life a month. The Japanese automaker's revamped proposal in the Kei car segment will be offered with a 660cc, 3-cylinder engine available in both naturally aspirated and turbocharger forms and mated excursively to a 4-speed automatic transmission.
As is common in Japan, the Life can be equipped optionally with an all-wheel-drive system while customers may select from three different trim levels: the basic Life G-type, the sportier Life Diva that features a subtle bodykit and the more luxurious and better equipped Life Pastel.
