GALLERY - DACIA SANDERO STEPWAY - 28 PHOTOS

Brazil's much-loved Renault Sandero Stepway has become the Dacia Sandero Stepway for Europe. Dacia's sole connection to North America would be with Nissan. Both companies are Renault-controlled. Dacia's ethos mandates seriously high-value vehicles, a step above the Tata Nano but a step below anything we're offered in North America. The regular Sandero has sold almost 60,000 units since the end of last year in South America. The jacked-up Stepway accounts for 2,700 sales in Brazil and Argentina in that time period.

Not a luxurious or fast vehicle, the Sandero Stepway is a real car with real new car feel at a price point where most people would be searching for decent 4-year old Japanese sedans. Think of 5.3L/100km in the city as a benefit, too. 28 pictures of the Sandero Stepway are available in the Gallery below.
