Ford Interceptor – Original V8 Thunder from Down under
Since Ford's getting ready to present yet another “Interceptor†–see details here, I thought I'd refresh our memories with an original "Interceptor" straight down from the land of V8 thunder. Of course we're talking about the Ford Interceptors that starred in the cult Aussie movie, MAD MAX. If my memory serves me correctly, there were three Interceptors: the yellow Ford Falcon XA & XB sedans and the almighty 1973 XB GT Coupe. The latter along with Holden’s Monaro GTS and Valliant’s Charger R/T are considered the epitome of Australian 70's muscle.
Apart from the first clip which is a teaser for a DVD that came out a few years ago featuring scenes from the Mad Max 2 reunion in July 2002 we found a rare, 3minute long trailer of the original MAD MAX movie that you can check out below.
