Fiat Group: Luca De Meo Appointed As Chief Marketing Officer
Fiat Group continues to revamp its top management structure as the Italian carmaker announced today that appointed Luca De Meo to the post of chief marketing officer of the group. In this newly created role, De Meo will be responsible for all brand marketing related activities across all Fiat Group sectors. Additionally, De Meo will become a full member of the Group Executive Council. In the official statement, Fiat said, “His contribution to the rejuvenation and relaunch of the Fiat Brand in a short period of time puts him in an ideal position to promote the various Fiat Group Brands and develop new marketing capabilities across the Groupâ€. Replacing Luca De Meo as Head of the Fiat Brand will be Lorenzo Sistino who served as the head of the group's New Holland Agricultural Equipment business.
