eBay Motors Celebrates 3-Millionth Sold Vehicle


Six years after eBay inaugurated the Motors section in 2000, the online auction site announced the sale of the 3 millionth vehicle. The milestone car is a 2002 Ford F-250 pickup truck purchased by Patricia Weidler of Otego, N.Y., to help her husband, Dan, start his own construction business. To celebrate the occasion, eBay Motors not only reimbursed the Weidlers but it also provided $3,000 in parts and accessories to help the couple get their construction company started.
