The Cayenne Diesel offers an Audi-derived 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel engine with 240HP matted to a six-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission.
Porsche claims that the Cayenne Diesel has an average consumption of 30.4mpg UK on the combined cycle that converts to 9.3 lt/100km or 25.3mpg US with emissions of 244g/km CO2.
The Cayenne's range will be further enhanced in 2010 with the introduction of a gasoline-hybrid version that's expected to exceed 31 mpg UK.
