December 2012 Top 20 Best-Selling SUVs In America
Six of America's 20 top-selling SUVs and crossovers in December 2012 were General Motors products. Another six hailed from Dearborn or Auburn Hills. Hyundai and Kia combined to land two utilities among the top 20, with the final six coming from Honda, Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru.
It was a particularly good month for the Lexus RX, good enough to pull its year end total up to 95,381 units.
Particularly good? Ford's Escape finished 20,000 sales back of the leader, Honda's CR-V. In this particularly strong CR-V sales year, Honda grew its leading utility's U.S. sales volume by 63,279 units. All 266 Vehicles Ranked By 2012 Year End U.S. Sales
