December 2012 Top 20 Best-Selling Cars In America

Apart from the fact that Honda secured the best-selling car in America title for the second consecutive month - with the Civic, not the Accord, there's little to distinguish this list when what you want to know is what happened in 2012 as a whole.

So we're moving past this task to bigger and brighter things. In the meantime, pay close attention to the links at the bottom of this post. They'll take you to all sorts of important places. As always, you can find historical monthly and yearly sales figures for every model currently marketed in North America through the dropdown menu at GCBC's Sales Stats home. Hundreds of best seller posts are available here.

All 266 Vehicles Ranked By 2012 Year End U.S. Sales

These were the 20 best-selling cars in America in December 2012. Nine hail from Japan, originally. Another three wear Korean badges. The Germans slotted in at 12th and 13th. And the remaining cars are Detroit-derived.
