The trio of smaller commercial vans - Transit Connect, NV200, Ram C/V - were up 38.2% as the Transit Connect reported a 30% increase and NV200 sales more than doubled. The trio accounted for 22.9% of all commercial van sales. (Notably, Ford does not break down the Transit Connect cargo van and Transit Connect Wagon figures.)

Full-size vans, led by the Chevrolet Express in September, were up 5.1% to 18,995 units. The traditional leader, Ford's E-Series, is rapidly winding down: sales fell 37.8% last month, and the new Transit's 1225-unit performance did not make up the deficit.
