Through the end of July, U.S. commercial van volume appears healthy. A July downturn flies against the trend, however, as the sharp declines reported by the Express and Savana were joined by a slight Mercedes-Benz Sprinter decrease, as well.

Ford also leads the small commercial van segment. The Transit Connect jumped 16% to 4723 units in July, its third consecutive month above the 4000-unit mark.
