Citroën Builds 200,000th DS3 Supermini in a Little Over Two Years
The 200,000th DS3 rolled off Citroën's assembly line at its Poissy plant in France on Wednesday, November 14. That's not too shabby if you consider that, the DS3 was launched in Europe in March 2010 as a more premium offering than the company's mainstream C3 in the supermini segment. The DS3's first venture outside of Europe came towards the end of 2010, followed by Argentina in 2011, Brazil in the first half of this year and China in the second half of 2012, which means Citroën can increase its sales numbers over the next years.
