BMW World: More Than 500,000 Visitors in 100 Days
Within 100 days from the opening ceremony on 17 October 2007, the all-new BMW Welt (world in German) building has been visited by more than half a million guests. According to BMW’s meticulously maintained books, the architecturally trendy building received 80,000 people right from the start on the opening weekend, while BMW Welt was also the starting point for 25,000 visitors going on the new Plant Tour on the Production Mile in the BMW Plant next door, where some 900 units of the 3 Series come off the assembly lines every day. -Continued Moreover, 140,000 guests have enjoyed various delights offered at the three restaurants and the coffee bar while the Events Forum has attracted 10,000 guests of BMW and other organizers, and 6,000 visitors have enjoyed the panel discussions and free jazz and classic concerts. Finally, 100,000 visitors have come to the shops in the BMW Welt, buying no less than 55,000 products.
