Audi 2008 Product Launch Document Leaked?


We discovered this allegedly official document showing the product launch date of Audi’s 2008 models in Germany circulating in various sites around the net. Among the most interesting model launches included in the document are the TT-S (2.0 Turbo 265 HP) in the second quarter of 2008, the Q5 SUV at the end of the third quarter of 2008, the A3 and A6 facelift models and the A4 Avant, expected in spring 2008. So could this product launch sheet be for real? We would have probably leaned toward a “yes” if we hadn’t noticed the A4 1.8 TFSI 88 KW. In horsepower terms, that’s 118 HP. A 1.8-liter turbo engine developing just 118 HP when Audi's 1.4 TSI unit starts off at 125 HP? Of course it could be a typo, but it does make you question the reliability of the document, doesn’t it…
