April Fool’s Day Aftermath...
April Fool’s day is one of the most light-hearted and cheerful days of the year. Carscoop of course couldn’t be absent from all the hoaxes we saw on the net yesterday so we decided to play along with Autoweek’s VW CrossPhatheon (which we took the liberty of equipping it with the non-existing 220Hp twin-turbo 2.0TDI), and with Seat UK’s prank remote controlled Leon Touring Car. We also created a hoax of our own which was a tad more serious –or at least we think it was, concerning the upcoming BMW X6 Concept. Using a few sketches of the current X5 and with a little help from photoshop we gave birth to BMW’s "surprise NY Show debut", the X6 Concept. Hope we fooled you!
