2009 Corvette ZR1’s Supercharged 6.2L V8 Engine Pics Leaked

This is something new. Thanks to an anonymous tipster, our Jalopnik friends put their hands on a set of official images featuring GM’s new LS9 6.2-liter V8 engine that will power the 2009 Corvette ZR1 (see video here) which will be unveiled in January at the 2008 Detroit Show. We don’t have any specific details other than that the LS9 will be equipped with a supercharger and a twin-intercooler, but it is expected that the output will be flirting with the 700 Hp mark. -More images after the jump
