This one-of-a-kind 1957 Chrysler Diablo Concept car that was conceived by Chrysler’s famous head designer Virgil Exner and built by the Carrozzeria Ghia in Italy, will be put up for sale at the Sports and Classics of Monterey auction to be held August 15 & 16, 2008 in California. The fully-functional soft-top convertible was built on a 1955 Chrysler 300 series chassis using a 392 cubic inch Hemi V8 with a push-button operated Torque-Flite automatic transmission.
