You Won't Believe Why this GEICO Car Insurance Ad Infuriated One Million Moms



The Government Employees Insurance Company –you all know it as GEICO- has promoted its business through many quirky television ads that usually encompass the tagline, "15 minutes could save you 15 percent or more on car insurance", and which have starred a number of different characters, ranging from a caveman to an anthropomorphic Day Gecko, and more recently, Maxwell the Pig.

Most people perceive the commercials as funny, but one particular ad with Maxwell the Pig has earned the wrath of a Mississippi website named "One Million Moms", run by conservative Christian group American Family Association (AFA).
