Volkswagen Magotan Sedan to debut in China

Apart from the Neeza Concept, VW will make one more world debut at the Auto China 2006 show which opens on the 19th of November. Unfortunately, there are no pics available yet but VW kindly informs us that it’s based on the latest Passat, specially tailored, of course, for the Chinese market. I hope that means just a longer wheelbase and a few cosmetic changes and not a total makeover – though it would be funny, to say the least, to see a Chinese version of the Passat with the front end of a Skoda Roomster and the rear of a Seat Cordoba.
