Unbelievable Raw Video Shows Cars Under Water in Manhattan



It would take someone with the imagination of fictional character Agent Fox Mulder to have predicted the catastrophe caused by the mega storm known as Sandy and which has not yet been unveiled in its entirety, that hit the east side of the United States on Monday.

Among the areas hit the most was Manhattan after a record 13-foot storm surge flooded the southern parts of the city.

A video shot by a one Sean Blackwell from the relative safety of a higher building shows how the raging water turned East 8th and Avenue C into a sea river engulfing cars and everything else in its way, just before the blackout took place.
