Reviews have been mixed. Onlookers either seem to hate the look of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG... or love it. With its blunt nose and retro gullwing doors, the Mercedes SLS is always going to attract attention because of the way it looks. As a successor to the McLaren-developed Mercedes SLR, the SLS is better gauged by its performance.
Yet the SLS AMG is significantly less expensive than its predecessor; $313,000 less to be exact. And with hundreds of thousands of dollars saved, you'll travel at a similar velocity and enjoy the experience even more. Put it this way: the fact that Mercedes-Benz managed to sell 168 of these supercars during its first month on sale isn't actually surprising at all.
