Top 20 Worst-Selling Vehicles In Canada - November 2013

Almost dead and gone, the Chevrolet Avalanche's 93% year-over-year decline was the worst among vehicles competing in Canada in November 2013. Also near the top (bottom?) of the heap was the near-defunct Volvo C30.

The Jaguar XK, on the other hand, sells rarely in large part because it's old, and also because of a much more sane purchase that can take place right in Jaguar's own showrooms. The F-Type is the better, cheaper, more handsome car.

• All 257 Vehicles Ranked By November 2013/YTD Canadian Sales

Strictly on volume terms, that XK was the lowest-volume vehicle in Canada last month, tied with the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, not long for this world, with just a single sale. Ranked 18th among the lowest-volume cars was the recently replaced Acura RLX (for which Acura combines sales figures with its predecessor, the RL). Even with a 433% year-over-year increase, RLX volume is still absurdly low, which shows just how low the RL's volume routinely was.

Vehicles are no longer granted exemption from GCBC's worst seller lists because of tenure, forthcoming cancellation, or price point. Anything that's rare is in the list at the bottom of this post; anything that's a lot less common than it was a year ago is in the first table.

You can always select a make and model at GCBC's Sales Stats page to find historical monthly and yearly sales figures from both Canada and the United States. Pertinent links are clickable at the bottom of this post, but you can also find related links at the Best Sellers page.

Whether it's due to discontinuation (e.g. Subaru Tribeca, Toyota FJ Cruiser), a replacement phase (e.g. Mazda MX-5 Miata), a steady loss in demand (e.g. Chevrolet Orlando), or a really good month last year that caused relatively normal December 2014...
