Barely pipped by the Honda CR-V, the Nissan Rogue was America's second-best-selling SUV/CUV in March 2015.
The CR-V, America's top-selling utility vehicle in seven consecutive months, outsold the Rogue by only 200 units in March, fending off the surging Nissan despite its own 4% year-over-year decline.

Among the 20 top sellers last month, only the CR-V, Ford Escape, Mazda CX-5, and Ford Edge posted fewer March sales in 2015 than they did in 2014. Massive gains were reported by the Rogue, Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Patriot, and Honda Pilot, while five other utility vehicle nameplates posted improvements of at least 20%.
Jeep landed four utility vehicles in the top 13 and began selling their Renegade, as well. March was the brand's best month ever.

What about the Outback? GCBC lists it with cars, but its 12,504 March sales (up 7% YOY) were more than enough to crack this top 20. This post was updated at 9:12 AM AT on 04.02.2015 to reflect the Pilot's 12th-place ranking.
