Top 10 Best-Selling Cars In America - September 2010

America's best-selling cars in September 2010 weren't all that different from America's best-selling cars in August 2010 or, for that matter, September 2009. However, the order has certainly changed.

If this were a traditional GoodCarBadCar.net Top 5, the Honda Civic would be missing, beaten to #5 by the 2010 Nissan Altima. Honda's Civic hasn't been outside the top five since March. The 2011 Hyundai Sonata is holding on to power and might but isn't progressing rapidly towards #1, although residing above the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord this early would be an amazing and unexpected feat. As shown in the Chevrolet vs Ford Graph earlier today, the Malibu beat the Fusion.

Missing from this list of America's most popular cars? Narrowly wedged out by the Chevrolet Impala were the Toyota Prius and Volkswagen Jetta. Don't be surprised if the newly inexpensive 2011 Volkswagen Jetta finds its way into the Top 10 Best-Selling Cars In America group before long.
