THE REAL DEAL HUMMER H1 ALPHA FALLS UNDER RECALL

Apparently somebody still cares that the Hummer H1 existed. We all know Donald Rumsfeld didn't care to fix problematic Hummers. NHTSA wants 684 H1 Alphas (the ones from 2006 equipped with 300-bhp, 520 lb-ft of torqye 6.6L Duramax diesel) recalled because the fuel tank could come in contact with the rear prop shaft. Problem.

Obviously this rubbing could eventually cause a leak, which, beside an ignition source would be seriously damaging. The fuel tank will be completely replaced with a new design when GM begins this Hummer Recall in November.
