Subaru BRZ is Big in Japan, Sales Hugely Surpass Initial Forecast



The new Subaru BRZ is going much better in its home market than what the Japanese automaker was expecting.

Since sales started in Japan on February 3 and through March 27, Subaru has delivered 3,551 units of its rear-wheel drive sports coupe. That's almost quadruple the initial sales forecast of 450 cars per month.

The BRZ is available in three trim levels in Japan, with prices starting from 2,058,000 Yen (US$24,980 / €18,890) for the base, stripped out RA model
