September 2012 Top 10 Worst-Selling Vehicles In Canada

2012 Chevrolet Tahoe LT Silver ice metallic
Chevrolet's two biggest sport-utility vehicles were two of Canada's 10 worst-selling vehicles in September 2012. When measured by year-over-year percentage declines, only eight vehicles suffered a worse drop than the Chevrolet Tahoe; only four did worse than the Suburban.

We can expect to see higher Ford C-Max volume in October. It only just went on sale and, rather predictably, didn't sell as often as the Toyota Prius V. Porsche's presence in this group is expected as dealers are waiting for a new Cayman, a rendering of which can be seen here. Even without a fresh Cayman, Porsche Canada has already sold more vehicles in 2012 than in any other full year in history.

We've come to expect a handful of other cars to make regular appearances. The Honda CR-Z is one such machine, desired rarely a year ago but even less so now. The Honda Insight is here, too, but not because of declining sales. Even with a 238% increase, the Insight is still a low volume car.

The Acura ZDX is another vehicle that made routine appearances on Canada's worst-selling vehicles list. But as I typed this article, TTAC published news that production of the ZDX has been cancelled. There will be a MY2013 ZDX, however. And while it's clear that the ZDX was still an actively-marketed crossover in September, its October cancellation finally gives us an opportunity to finally bid it farewell.

You'll find the 10 worst-selling vehicles in Canada, factored three different ways, in the tables below.
