Saleen Introduces New 302 V8 Crate Engines with up to 580Hp
For the first time in its history, Saleen is offering its 302 cubic inch (5.0L) V8 premium crate engines for sale through its Speedlab Aftermarket Division. Available in both long and short blocks, the 302 crate motors are based on Ford’s 4.6-liter V8 engine. Upgrades include forged pistons, rods, crankshaft and valve train components, and camshaft. -ContinuedDepending on which package you choose, Saleen’s crate engine range from 390 Hp for the normally aspirated base version to 580 Hp for the supercharged edition. "This addition to our aftermarket product lineup was a no brainer," commented Carlos Duran, Manager of Saleen's Speedlab Aftermarket Division, "This engine is currently at high production rates, which allow for quick delivery to Saleen Speedlab consumers. We want to provide our customers with the utmost in confidence relating to this new line of products."
