Richard Hammond Announces He’s Bored… Really Bored



It seems it’s not only James May that’s putting out completely unrelated videos on YouTube, following the cancellation of the Top Gear show. Richard Hammond is also at it, and while before he may have posted footage of some of his daily activities, today he drove a cool British classic.

We don’t really know what to make of this short series of three videos (so far). They really have no purpose other than to assure us Hammond is still alive and well, despite the show cancellation, and that he’s looking for (automotive) work.

The three videos posted below (in reverse-chronological order) are only watchable if you, like him, are bored and have time on your hands to kill. At least in the last of the videos he does show a car, a beautiful 1920s Lagonda which he drives to buy some noodle-laden beef and tomato soup – pure Gonzo (home) journalism, this is...
